1. About Recipe AI

Recipe AI ("App") is a mobile application developed and operated by Blue January LLC ("we", "us", "our"). The App uses artificial intelligence to analyse food images and provide health information, recipe suggestions, and smoothie ideas for informational purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Recipe AI. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's consent.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately at info@bluejanuary.us if you suspect any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Recipe AI offers a 7-day free trial followed by optional paid subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, Yearly).
• Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and managed by RevenueCat.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• To cancel, manage your subscription via App Store → Account → Subscriptions.
• We do not offer refunds for partially used subscription periods, except where required by applicable law.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload images that are offensive, illegal, or violate third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or distribute the App or its AI models
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Use automated tools to access or scrape the App

6. Health Disclaimer

Recipe AI provides nutritional and health information for informational purposes only. The content generated by the App:

• Is not medical advice and should not replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional
• May not be accurate for all individuals, dietary needs, or health conditions
• Should not be used to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition

Always consult a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a health condition or food allergy.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and AI-generated output within the App is owned by or licensed to Blue January LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

You retain ownership of the images you upload. By uploading images you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process them solely for the purpose of providing the App's features to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue January LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages arising from reliance on AI-generated health or nutritional information.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the App. Upon termination all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
